Utility:
A gate valve is a valve that opens by lifting a round or rectangular gate/wedge out of the path of the fluid.
Characteristic features:
- The distinct feature of a gate valve is that it can only
to be fully opened or closed.
- Gate valves are characterised as having either a rising
or a nonrising stem.

Technical Specification:
- Scratches and burrs not allowed in the valve surface.
- The valve must be leakage tested by transformer oil
under 1.1PN, pressure within an hour, the max admitted
leakage is less than 0.001 dm /h.
- Each valve must be packed with plastic film and the
package shall be suitable for long distance transportation
